About our DACS Framework

Direct Air Capture & Storage (DACS), represents a cutting-edge technology designed to directly extract carbon dioxide (CO₂) from the atmosphere. It harnesses a combination of chemical and mechanical processes to capture CO₂ molecules from the atmosphere. Once captured, the CO₂ can be utilized for diverse applications, including conversion into valuable products or secured underground storage.

Currently, there is not sufficient data available for DACS projects to produce a complete Sylvera rating. We have published a white paper to help DACS project developers and buyers understand our approach to assessing DACS projects.
