About our REDD+ Framework

Sylvera has developed a rigorous bottom-up approach in order to produce the most accurate ratings and analyses for carbon projects in the VCMs. For each project type, we create a proprietary framework. This document explains our framework for REDD+ projects, and addresses how we adapt it to appropriately reflect the differences between Avoided Unplanned Deforestation (AUD) and Avoided Planned Deforestation (APD) projects.
